Star Wars Episode 9 Premiere Reactions and Reviews - Good and Bad
(This postal service does not contain whatever spoilers for "Star Wars: The Ascent of Skywalker")
We're just a few days abroad now from the arrival of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" in theaters everywhere, and that means the hype meter is already off the charts. And with the earth premiere taking place Monday night in Hollywood, nosotros've at present got a whole agglomeration of people who have actually seen the thing.
And, of course, a lot of those people tweeted their reactions equally before long equally they got out of the theater. And, well, those reactions are mostly what you'd expect from people attending the premiere of a new "Star Wars" motion-picture show. For the most part, the responses are very positive, though some are less positive than others.
The reactions thus far take come in two master flavors: folks voicing overwhelmingly effusive praise for the moving-picture show, and folks who say that the motion picture is a whole lot and they're gonna have to think near it. Information technology'due south not extremely surprising that we'd get those types of responses at the premiere — it'due south unlikely that anyone at the premiere would direct upward trash the picture, so this is the range I personally expected.

Nosotros want to reiterate here that in that location are no spoilers in the tweets below — unless yous consider "I liked it" or "I'grand not certain how I feel" to establish plot and story details. At present let's get into it.
STAR WARS: THE Ascent OF SKYWALKER is certainly the nearly convoluted Star Wars. In that location is a lot I liked, but the offset half gets then bogged down with exposition and new plot and doodads and beacons and transmitters, information technology feels similar information technology should have been three movies on its own.

Only most of all, information technology's a plumbing equipment ending for this incredible, 40+ year-long saga. pic.twitter.com/pd2GEwI7O3

I've seen #StarWarsTheRiseofSkywalker. It's… a lot. There'south a lot I like and some I loved but overall my feelings are pretty mixed. It felt like an apology for The Last Jedi in some ways and a sequel to The Force Awakens in many, which I establish frustrating. movie.twitter.com/6m8sOQWhTx

Epic. All of it. #TheRiseofSkywalker is a terrific finale that is just stuffed with so much of everything. Activity, take a chance — answers!! — humor, middle, beloved, and dust. I spent the entire second one-half with tears in my eyes – a wonderful way to end the Skywalker story picture show.twitter.com/K2NhHSGWzM

#StarWars #TheRiseOfSkywalker is good. It's big and full of surprises and, in the words of Luke Skywalker, "This is not going to go the manner you think." pic.twitter.com/nruJtzaMC4

Just stepped out of #TheRiseofSkywalker. It's an immensely satisfying and MASSIVE end to the saga. Information technology somehow addresses issues, problematic characters, and most unanswered questions from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi likewise. pic.twitter.com/TMKeXCXuUx
