They where never available as armorskins, but equally townclothes. Townclothes take been replaced past outfits, which cover the entire torso (head-item tin can be subconscious).
If using medium armor, you lot could get the http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hawkeye-Eye_Goggles
to unlock information technology in your wardrobe, create an engineer in a free character slot (not beta!) and cull the goggles. One time unlocked you lot tin delete the character again to use the slot for other purposes.
Arise, ye farmers of all nations
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Reading glasses were on the precious stone store in the style tab for a looooong time. Guess they were removed few months ago when anet deleted a bunch of old skins from the gem store,
aviator cap and A set up of glasses (inventor'southward) are yet there.
Why delete information technology in the store, isn't the shop meant to earn money?
I find it a bit strange other games have a full ingame store while Anet keeps his store empty
"E'er stepping in the footsteps of the Flameseeker"
multiple threads on that topic – information technology's called bogus scarcity
If things are always in that location, you think "wow, that'southward cool, i'll have to get that erstwhile"… and then never actually get around to information technology.
If that something is there for just a modest window, everyone who wants that item knows they have to accept it NOW NOW NOW or they'll miss out for… however long. Perhaps forever.
The downsides are:
-with the starting time model y'all do go SOME ambient sales and over a long enough time they could outweigh the sudden mass buy of the 2nd model
-People who otherwise would purchase the detail may non exist able to buy it in the extremely limited window of the second model, leading to lost sales
It'southward all only a balancing human activity.
They really should do more with sales instead of removing items, the ingame shop could be so much more.

My eyeglasses and bunny ears converted to armor skins. All I accept left of the boondocks wearing apparel I purchased. I tossed the useless tonics.
Ley lines. The perfect solution to deadlines and writers block. Now in an easy open Tin can.
They where never bachelor as armorskins, only as townclothes. Townclothes accept been replaced by outfits, which cover the unabridged body (head-item can be subconscious).

What Mercury meant is that the Reading Glasses were never sold as an armor skin; they were only sold as town dress. And then this isn't a case of artificially scarcity — it's a case of ANet (for unknown reasons) non offering a precious stone shop unlock for the wardrobe.
I speculate that there must be some obscure technical reason, otherwise why haven't they already done it? Information technology would (a) be some easy money and (b) exist a large win in terms of customer service (zomg, they brought dorsum Reading Spectacles|Bunny Ears|…).

They where never bachelor as armorskins, only equally townclothes. Townclothes have been replaced past outfits, which embrace the entire body (caput-item can be hidden).

My aviator sunglasses and reading spectacles that I use as armor all the time say that yes, they are skins.
I did purchase the aviator cap in the last year? six months? And so they aren't like bunny ears, reading or hipster glasses.
We are heroes. This is what we practise!

They where never bachelor as armorskins, simply as townclothes. Townclothes have been replaced by outfits, which embrace the entire torso (head-detail tin can be hidden).

OP merely keep an eye out on the sales. I have three of the glasses that they released, just hoping to nab the other two during the sale.
